Long Distance Moving to or from Portland with Flat Price Auto Transport

You don’t have to be in Canada to experience natural beauties while living in a developed city with a great job market. Professional Flat Price’s Portland movers will take you to the amazing City of Roses in Oregon and make sure that all of your belongings arrive safely. Portland is among the most walkable and bikeable cities in the nation, so if you love spending time outdoors enjoying nature, and you also want to be in a thriving city, welcome to Portland.

Did you know that this is the first city in the USA to enact a plan for reducing carbon dioxide emissions? This green city gets a third of its energy from natural resources, and it works on lowering its dependence on fossil fuels. Because of that, traffic here is never an issue, and most of the local people walk or bike to where they’re headed. Even if it rains, and it does. A lot. This city gets 43 inches of rain annually on average, but it’s not the downpours, so wearing a waterproof coat solves the problem. Most newcomers come here because of the livability, location, food, and drinks, and tech and health sectors that are highly developed here. Oh, and there’s no sales tax here. This city is heaven for small business owners, especially if you want to make craft beers. However, the competition will be tough in almost every industry, especially in the food and drinks business. Another pro of living here is the international airport that’s been rated as one of the best in the nation.

Come and Visit the City Before Choosing Where You Will Live

It’s always good to visit the place you plan to call home before you actually come there. Check out how it looks and feels during both night and day and how far it is from your future work. If you work from home, it’s one worry less. You will find five sectors here: North, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and Northeast. Local areas we recommend are:

• Pearl District – Located in the heart of Downtown, Pearl has so many options for going out during both day and night. It’s perfect for young professionals, but also for families with small children because there are also family-friendly activities.
• Nob Hill – This Northwest area has lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. If you love spending time with family or friends in a coffee shop after some fun shopping, this is the neighborhood for you.
• Arlington Heights – This area is all about families and single-family homes. All of you who love being outside in parks, keep in mind that there are 323 acres of open space. You can spend hours just wandering around and enjoying the scenery.

Portland Will Make You Fall in Love With Having an Active Lifestyle

If you’re not already someone who enjoys being outdoors, you’ll soon become. One of the most important things about The City of Roses is how beautiful the scenery is and how close you are to truly incredible views. The city is on the water, there are lots of trees, and biking and hiking trails that will lead you there. Visiting many breathtaking waterfalls, gardens, and parks will always be an option for your leisure time. Multnomah Falls and Wahclella Falls are just some of the most famous ones. Portland is not just about nature – here, you will find one of the oldest bookstores, museums, galleries, and street art. After checking out the cultural scene, it’s time to see why so many people call this city a foodie destination. From amazing doughnut places to upscale restaurants – Portland has it all. It is also known for so many different types of beer, wine, and coffee. Whatever diet you’re having, you will find your favorite spot here.

Cross country moves aren’t simple nor cheap, so you have to know how to pick the best long-distance moving company. Do thorough research before you decide who to hire and make sure they are legitimate. Here’s how you can tell that you’ve chosen right:

• The company is registered and licensed,
• Their DOT number is available on their website,
• They’re not brokers,
• They have positive and trustworthy reviews on Yelp, Facebook, and BBB,
• They can provide you with all the long-distance moving services you need.

It’s Important to Know Who You’re Dealing With Before Paying for Long Distance Moves

Many things can go wrong if you’re dealing with scammers with bad or fake reviews. To avoid all the possible inconveniences and to make sure that your move goes smoothly, do your homework before paying the deposit. It will save you from a lot of emotional and financial trouble.

Flat Price Portland Movers Have Top Moving Services

We are free to say that we excel at long-distance moving due to years of experience and thousands of satisfied clients. We have facilities in almost every bigger city in the nation, and we cover almost all of the US mainland. We can help you with relocating any type of apartment, house, or business office. Our team will also disassemble and reassemble every item that needs that. We will load the shipment on the truck, unload them, and carry everything to your new home. Cross country movers will organize all the furniture and boxes in their designated rooms, so our clients don’t have to carry anything heavy.

Packing can be difficult, especially if you don’t have any experience with handling and protecting items in your home. In case you require packing services, we’re here for you. Our team will pack everything bigger than a standard cardboard box – free of charge. For all the smaller items you’re worried about, you can get a partial pack service where our team can pack your breakables, but it has to be less than fifteen boxes.

Part of Our Moving Services in Portland Is the Full Pack

If we pack more than fifteen boxes for you, or if we do all the packing – that service is called a full pack. You’ll have a stress-free move once you know that every single item is packed by a professional with high-quality equipment. Another handy option for delicate items or those that are tricky to relocate is custom crating. Just tell your dedicated relocation specialist the dimensions of that item, and we will make a customized wooden box to transport it. Both of these options are available for an additional cost that will be calculated when the relocation specialist knows all the details.

If for any reason, you can’t leave your items in the apartment right away, you can use our high-end storage unit for thirty days without paying. It is sanitized, climate-controlled, and constantly surveilled, so your things will be safe with us all the time. We will put a label on each item and box that will be checked when entering and leaving the storage so that we can keep track of every shipment. If you wish to leave your belongings longer than the free period, the price for that will be calculated per day.

You won’t have to look for a separate car shipping company if you want auto transport services. Flat Price Auto Transport has years of experience in car relocation, and we have shipped and delivered thousands of vehicles without a scratch. We will come to pick up your car in a guaranteed three-day pick-up window, and deliver it quickly and efficiently. Just choose between door-to-door and terminal-to-terminal service. If you want, you can leave up to 100lbs of items in the trunk.

Our Movers in Portland Provide You With Transporting on an Open and Enclosed Trailer

We have two options for you – you can ship your car on two types of trailers. An open trailer is a more affordable option, but it offers you less protection from the weather conditions because your vehicle will be exposed. The enclosed trailer is pricier, but your car will be fully protected from all the outside elements. It’s preferred by owners of expensive car models. For a reasonable price, you will get professional service, whichever option you choose. Beware of the cheapest companies you find on the market. Auto transport company you hire must be reputable, and you should always be notified about the whereabouts of your vehicle.

Even when you’re working with trained long distance movers, accidents happen, and some unforeseeable events can happen. Having insurance is a good move if you want to be one step ahead of any possible problem. Everything that our movers in Portland pack for you will be insured automatically. Minimum liability insurance is mandatory, and it’s free. Your belongings will have coverage of $0.60 per every damaged pound. Full replacement insurance is a much better option, and you can purchase it for an additional fee. Your dedicated relocation specialist will explain all the further details to you. Also, your cars are insured with us. If you opt for cross country moving on an open trailer, your car will be insured for up to $100,000. In case you decide to choose an enclosed trailer, your vehicle will be covered up to $500,000 worth of damage.
